ARIZONA STATE LAND DEPARTMENT
CONTINUING OPERATIONS
THE COVID-19 SITUATION IS FLUID AND EVOLVING. THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE LATEST INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE. PLEASE CHECK BACK HERE OFTEN.
ASLD SERVICES
By order of Governor Doug Ducey (Executive Order 2020-12, issued March 23, "Prohibiting The Closure Of Essential Services"), essential state government offices like the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) remain open to serve the Arizona public, Trust customers, and stakeholder businesses. Our hours of operation remain unchanged (8 AM -5 PM).
ASLD TEMPORARY SERVICE CHANGE AT PHOENIX LOCATION
While ASLD continues to serve members of the public who wish to visit our Phoenix office, we remain committed to doing all we can to protect the health of both the public and our employees. This includes maintaining 'social distancing' whenever possible.
To that end, ASLD has established a policy allowing no more than 10 persons (combination of both staff and members of the public) into our public records area at 1616 West Adams Street in Phoenix, at any one time. Additional members of the public are still able to speak with ASLD staff through our existing service glass window while maintaining 'social distance.' Out of respect for your time and to avoid long wait times, we strongly encourage members of the public to call 602-542-4631 to set an appointment for an in-person visit to the ASLD public records area.
ASLD office hours of operation remain unchanged (8 AM - 5 PM). You can also use phone services (602-542-4631) during those hours or you can access many ASLD services online 24/7 through our website.
ASLD MONITORING HEALTH GUIDANCE
ASLD closely monitors the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). CDC and ADHS have not recommended the closure of offices at this time but are recommending telework and other alternatives when available. Our agency can be fully mobilized for telework during the COVID-19 situation, and many of our employees are already doing so.
This page will be updated as needed. Visit the ADHS for updates on COVID-19 in Arizona.
ASLD RECREATIONAL PERMITS & COMPLIANCE
Recreational permits continue to be issued. Please apply for permits here on our website. Please remember that ‘social distancing’ applies to Trust Lands as well!
ASLD will continue to respond to concerns regarding illegal activities on State Trust Lands, such as dumping. Please notify ASLD here of illegal activities on Trust Land.
ASLD AUCTIONS
